Career Choices day 2025

Sunday 6th April 2025. 12pm - 3pm BST

Our career choices day is a free event delivered by a career advisor. It is for all students aged 13-18, limited to 500 students attending.

Are you feeling uncertain about which career path to take? Or maybe you have a lot of ideas but aren’t sure how to choose the right one? Career Choices Day is here to guide you through this exciting but sometimes confusing stage in your life.

The main goal of this session is to reassure you that it's completely okay to not have your career or life plans figured out yet. You don’t need to have everything mapped out at this stage. You’re not alone, and we’re here to help you navigate through the uncertainty!

What to Expect:

  • Reassurance & Guidance: Learn that it’s totally normal to be unsure about your career path at this stage of your life. It’s okay not to have all the answers just yet.

  • Discover Your Interests: We'll explore how your current passions, both inside and outside of education, can help guide your next steps.

  • Finding What Fits: We'll dive into identifying your learning style and how to make decisions based on what excites and motivates you.

  • Exploring Career Options: Learn how to "try out" different ideas and areas of interest before fully committing to one career path.

  • Making Broader Decisions: Even if you’re not sure about your final career destination, we’ll help you make informed decisions in the meantime that keep you moving forward.

Why Attend?

  • Get clarity and reassurance about the next steps in your career journey.

  • Discover how your interests and passions can shape your career choices.

  • Learn practical ways to experiment with different career ideas.

  • Take the pressure off and make informed, broader decisions while you’re still figuring things out.
